When a metal object is detected, the corresponding icon flashes on the control panel, indicating the type of object. A distinction is made among four types, iron objects such as horseshoes or nails, metal objects such as aluminum or low-value coins, jewelry objects such as rings or even low-value coins, and precious metal objects such as gold and silver pieces or high-value metals. Minimized noise due to automatic ground adjustment.
