Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology
The Equinox 700 is the first metal detector to utilize Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology, which means it operates on multiple frequencies simultaneously. With search frequencies of 4, 5, 10 and 15 kHz, the Equinox 700 offers the option of either a single frequency or the Multi-IQ feature.
The low 5 kHz frequency allows for a greater depth range, while the 15 kHz frequency is more sensitive to smaller objects. In Multi-IQ mode, the Equinox 700 takes advantage of all search frequencies simultaneously for effective searching.
Waterproof to 5 meters
With IP68 waterproofing to a depth of 16 feet (5 meters), you can take the Equinox 700 anywhere and explore Ground with ease. Built-in Bluetooth Includes ML-85 Bluetooth Headphones
The Minelab Equinox 700 gives you a premium listening experience with built-in Bluetooth and the included ML-85 low-latency Bluetooth headphones. Additionally, a waterproof 3.5mm jack port is available for you to connect optional wired headphones or underwater headphones. You can adjust the volume directly from the detector's controller to customize the sound to your liking.
Built-in Li-ion Battery
This model is equipped with a built-in Li-ion battery located in the handle of the detector. This battery can be conveniently charged via a magnetic USB port. The battery life is approximately 10-12 hours. If you wish, you can also charge the Equinox via USB while searching using a powerbank. This gives you the ability to search and power the detector at the same time.

The Minelab Equinox 700 metal detector weighs only 1.2 kg, yet is equipped with a powerful 28 cm DD-Coil (EQX 11). There is also an optional 15 cm-Coil (EQX 6) and a large 38 x 30 cm-Coil (EQX 15). This device allows you to set the reaction speed in 3 different levels. A low setting maximizes search depth, while a high setting improves discrimination of closely spaced objects. With this flexible setting option, you will never miss an object with the Equinox 700.
Object Identification
The Equinox 700 offers convenient object identification with guide values on the display. These conductance values range from -19 to 0 for iron objects and from 1 to 99 for more valuable objects. Silver objects have higher conductance values, while gold objects have an intermediate conductance value. You can use the discriminate function to hide iron objects from -19 to 0. The horseshoe key allows you to quickly and easily turn the iron discrimination function on and off.
Display illumination, key illumination and coil illumination
It provides red display illumination with different brightness levels as well as key illumination and coil illumination. This makes it ideal for searching at dusk or in dark areas.
Pinpoint function and software updates
The Equinox 700 has a pinpoint function that allows you to locate the exact find quickly and accurately. In addition, you can perform software updates for the Equinox via USB.
