Why bone sound headphones?
When using ordinary waterproof headphones underwater, the ear fills with water and hearing is often reduced. BH-01 sits in front of your ears on your cheekbone and transmits sound directly to your inner ear through vibration without stressing your eardrum. Your ears are therefore free. In choppy or noisy water, it makes sense to dive with earplugs to avoid infection or simply to better isolate yourself from noise. This way you can hear the sound perfectly via bone conduction and at the same time protect your ears.
Can you use it to listen to music on your smartphone?
No, because the BH01 bone conduction headphones use a proprietary connector, so not a 3.5mm jack plug.
Warning: when diving, use only special earplugs that allow pressure equalization, never use standard earplugs, as they can damage the ear while diving.
You can also use these headphones on land to hear your surroundings or conversely isolate yourself from noisy environments, again earplugs are advisable here.
With the BH-01, the hearing impaired can also feel the vibrations generated by the conductance towards the cochlea. Adjusting the audio frequencies downward (100 to 300 Hz) could further improve perception depending on the disturbance.
